The new mission! Trouble rears its ugly head!

It was late afternoon and Nakora was in her room looking at her wave headband. Her reflection shone in it. She gently put her finger on gently where the crack was and glided it downward. There was knock on the door.

“Nakora-chan! Tsunade-sama would like to see you!” Shizune said from behind the door.

“Alright, I’ll be right there.” She said and put her wave headband on her waist. She got up and walked to Tsunade’s office. Anko was only in the room.

“Huh? Where’s Puru-chan, and Kai-chan?” Nakora asked walking into the room.  

“They had gotten major food poisoning from the mission in the land of wind. Oh, speaking of which who was the candidate you chose? ”Tsunade said.

“It was Gaara, the son of the former Kazekage. He insisted upon it, milady.” Anko said frankly.

“Fine, you’re new mission is for you to get two stolen scrolls from the hidden mist village. The stolen scrolls were taken by a group of thieves that are from the stone village.”

“The stone village…” Nakora said quietly to herself.

“Milady, what exactly is important about these scrolls?” Anko asked.

“What’s important about them? They were scrolls regarding information on Orochimaru’s whereabouts. It’s still a mystery how the village hidden in the mist had gotten them but…That doesn’t really matter. It’s your job to secure the scrolls and take them back to the hidden mist village once the scrolls are given to them we will be sent a copy of the scroll.” Tsunade explained. Anko looked down and clenched her fists.

“Orochimaru--!” Anko muttered. Nakora looked up at her she laid her hand on Anko’s hand.

“Sensei…? What’s wrong? Are you hurt?” Nakora asked. Anko looked at her in amazement.

“Nakora-san…” Anko said.

“Okay you two. You are to leave immediately.” Tsunade said

“Right!” Anko and Nakora said.

~Outside the village gate.

“Nakora-san! You have weapons?” Anko said.

“Check!” Nakora replied.

“Medical supplies?” Anko asked.

“Check!” Nakora repeated.

“Dango?” Anko asked.

“Che—Wait! What? Dango…?” Nakora said.

“You mean you didn’t bring any of your delicious dango?” Anko asked in an unfriendly tone.

“No, the list says to bring—” Nakora said.

“I DON’T CARE!! GET ME YOUR DANGO!!” Anko exclaimed.

“R-right!” Nakora exclaimed nervously and ran to her house. Nakora ran back as quickly as she could with her backpack filled with dango. She stopped to catch her breath.

“OKAY! NOW THAT WE HAVE THE DANGO LET’S MOOOVVVE OUT!” Anko yelled starting to run.

“Ah!!” Nakora said running after her still out of breath.

~That night.

Anko and Nakora sat around the fire eating dango. Nakora sat there exhausted and slowly eating her food.

“I told you we needed the dango!” Anko said eating her food happily.

“What happened to packing light so then if enemy ninja attack we don’t get dragged down?” Nakora said eating her food.

“That may be true but if it’s food!” Anko said finishing her dango and getting more.

“Hey! Don’t eat all of it! We still need that food for tomorrow!” Nakora snapped taking the dango away.

“Nakora-san! I’m the sensei so I say give me back the dango!” Anko trying to take the dango back.

“We won’t have food for tomorrow!” Nakora exclaimed putting the food in her bag.

“Pffht! Sheesh!” Anko scowled.

“Let’s just get some rest.” Nakora said. Anko was muttering to herself with a scowl.

“…Fine…”Anko said laying down and fell asleep. Nakora looked up at the stars she stared at them looking at them shine and shimmer.

“Orochimaru…Why does he have to be part of this--?” Nakora said quietly to herself. A dark figure watched Nakora and made smirk.

“Heh heh heh.” The dark figure laughed and disappeared. Nakora looked up in the tree and saw no one there.

“Hmm…Must have been my imagination…” Nakora said to herself. Nakora laid down and fell asleep.

~The next morning.

The fire had burned out and Nakora actually woke up early. She stretched and saw that Anko was still asleep. The sky was near sunrise and the colors with pink and orange filled the sky. She went over Anko and shook her shoulder.

“Sensei--! You have to see this!” Nakora exclaimed. Anko got up she went over to Nakora’s bag and got out the dango.

“Food…”Anko said half-asleep.

“No! Sensei I meant for you to look up at the sky!!” Nakora exclaimed.

“The sky always looks like that. After this we are continuing our mission…”Anko said eating the dango.

“Hah….” Nakora sighed took some of the dango. After they were done Nakora wrapped up the tent and put it away in her bag. They quickly left and began again to their destination.

“So…Orochimaru…has to do with this…” Nakora said as they were running. Anko went to a complete stop. Nakora ran a little bit past her and also stopped. Anko clenched her fists.

“Orochimaru… IS A DEMON!!! And I have vowed…TO KILL HIM!!! He has killed thousands…He started the great war that practically destroyed our village. He is known as…‘The master of death.’” Anko exclaimed.

“Heh heh…” A sinister laugh rang through the trees. Both Nakora and Anko looked around. Nakora built up her chakra and a sword appeared in her hands. The handle was decorated with four dragons all the dragons were different colors one was blue, one red, one yellow, and one white. Nakora held the sword in a defensive position.

“Nakora-san! Put your sword away!” Anko ordered.

“But--!” Nakora protested.

“PUT IT AWAY!” Anko exclaimed. Nakora went through her bag and brought out a sheath. It had designs with waves, fire, wind, and lightning. She put her sword in the sheath and put the sheath on her waist.

“I’ll keep it with me just in case.” Nakora said.

~Later that night.

Nakora and Anko were running and nearing the stone village. A dark figure followed them silently. Nakora gripped her necklace feeling a dark presence in the air.
