Nakora's Beginning

Chapter 1 Nakora's beginning........



Once upon a time there was a young girl with light blue hair and big shiny amber eyes. She stood with her brother as they watched their mother, the queen die before them. Both of them shed many tears and so did the people of the sea. Now the young girl was next to inherit the throne when she would become the Queen of the sea. The young girl looked around her and she felt uneasy....and she was scared. As she cried, the young girl held tight to her sacred ocean gem necklace and watched her brother morn for their lost mother.

“Nakora...your scared aren't you?” Nakora nodded and started to cry as she ran to her brother and hugged him. Nakora let go of her brother and looked into his eyes,

“Hiro...when Mama died I saw something...” Hiro gasped...

“You mean another vision...into the future” Nakora cried as she nodded . “I saw....I saw our village was going get hit by a hurricane and be destroyed!”

“Nakora, was it a bit hazy like the other time...” Her brother spoke quietly. “No it was as crystal clear!  As clear as my necklace!” The young girl held up her ocean gem necklace in front of Hiro.

“But...that means...” The young girl's tears fell from her cheeks as she nodded. “...It's going to happen...”

They both looked down at their beautiful underwater village as it gleamed in the sunlight.
Their Godfather came crashing into the room quite suddenly, and that made Nakora fall on her face, making her headband fly across the room.

“Nakora, are you all right!?” her brother said.

“...Ugh...yeah I'm fine... I just got scared...” she said, as she was getting her headband.

“What is it?”

“Their is a huge hurricane coming!!!!” The young girl and her brother both gasped and looked at each other with worried faces. The young girl cried and fell to her knees.

“First Mama, and now us--!” Hiro sat down next to her and brushed her hair. (which always calms her down.)

“It's okay, don't worry...”

“Yes! Do not worry Princess Nakora! We may not make it but you two are of royal blood and you will be harmed very little, a bruise at worst.”

“What!? You mean everyone else will die but us?” The young girl said as tears still flowed down her cheeks. Their godfather looked down and frowned as he quietly said,
“Yes.”

Hiro finally snapped and cried very hard.

“Hiro...I have never seen you cry before...usually you are so cool and collected...”

“Ahhhhh!......I c-can't believe this!” They both hugged each other and cried and cried and cried.

And as they cried the hurricane suddenly hit. Destroying the beautiful village in the sea. And in the horrible hurricane there glowed a faint light. As the hurricane passed the brother and sister were separated at sea, unconscious they drifted apart. Over a month later the "Princess" finally drifted to a beach. And while she lay there unconscious the Sand ninja team was relaxing on the beach. (Gaara, Kankuro, and Temari)
Gaara was walking on the beach muttering how lame it was that Temari and Kankuro talked him into coming to the beach...And then he saw Nakora....She layed there beautifully covered with water sparkling in the sunlight. He slowly walked up to the beautiful young girl and gazed at her for awhile. he kneeled down and checked her pulse when she had no pulse He slowly kneeled down to her luscious lips and kissed her...
(CPR) The young girl coughed then slowly opened her eyes and smiled. Gaara blushed and gazed at her eyes for awhile. The young girl slowly got up and gently touched his face and said, “Y-you saved my life.....I am forever in your debt...” When Gaara heard her angelic voice he felt an odd power within him and his heart raced. The young girl slowly went closer to him and kissed him slowly. Gaara still blushing moved a bit so she could sit up and sat there wondering who she was and what was she doing there and why his heart was pounding.

“....Please tell me, what is your name....?”

“I-It's Gaara” The young girl gasped for she remembered the stained glass in the foyer of the castle in her underwater village...It said that a man would be destined for her by the name of "Gaara" who had red hair and blue eyes like ice...
And right then she realized that this was him...She softly said, “Gaara-kun”

“Are you okay?”

“...Huh.....oh...uh...fine....”

“What's your name?”

“Oh.....I-It's Nakora”

“Why are you out here?" Tears swelled up in the young girl's amber eyes. And Gaara knew he said something he shouldn't have.

“.......M-my.......M-my whole village got hit by a hurricane and got destroyed....everyone died except my brother and me.....” The young girl frantically looked around her and saw nothing but the sand and surf.

“W-Where is my brother?......”

“I don't know. No one is on this beach besides you and me and my teammates...” Gaara looked up and noticed Temari on her fan watching them. He didn't know for how long. When Temari knew Gaara saw her she flew down and landed a few yards away. Gaara saw that she was blushing then he knew she saw him kiss her. (CPR)

“So who is your new friend Gaara?”

“........................”

“hmmmmm?”

“..............She is....uhhhh....” The young girl stood up and said, “I am Nakora Ikuhara of the Village hidden in the sea.........At least I was anyway.......”

“What?

“My Village was destroyed by a hurricane....Anyway it is a pleasure to meet you.....”

“Oh...Temari”

“Oh well it is a pleasure to meet you Temari-chan” Temari was not used to this kind behavior so all she did was smile awkwardly and bow and say, “It is a pleasure meeting you too....Nakora-chan”   Nakora touched her neck ever so slightly (she does this whenever she is sad)

“Huh?....Wait where is my headband?”

“What headband?” Gaara said as he looked around.

“I was wearing it around my neck...” As she said this she touched her neck.

“It probably fell off when I was in the water....” Right then Nakora felt something at her feet as the wave gently went past her and back, and what she saw was her headband broken and covered with seaweed. She fell to her knees and picked up the broken headband. Tears came to her eyes and fell down her flushed cheeks. Suddenly she smiled and hugged her broken,  headband. As she was hugging her headband Kankuro walked up and asked, “What's up? And who is this?” Kankuro smiled in a flirty kind of way.

“Oh, this is Nakora Ikuhara, her village got destroyed and Gaara gave her CPR to save her...”

“....................WHAAAAATTT!?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!?!? !?!?!?!?!?!”

“Yep ya heard me, Gaara gave mouth to mouth a girl to a girl save her life.”

“........”

Gaara glared at Temari with intent to kill. Temari realized that she had said something really stupid. In fear she got her big fan and flew off. Kankuro on the other hand was staring at Gaara with his mouth wide open shocked that gaara saved this cute girl's life. And he stared and stared until Nakora said, "Ummmm....are you okay......? Ummm sorry I don't know your name....."

Kankuro snapped out of it blushing and scratched his cheek and softly said, “It's Kankuro.......”

“Oh well nice to meet you Kankuro-kun.....”  Nakora held out her hand for a handshake but Kankuro was a bit scared cause he thought she was really cute and he just stood there looking at her and then glanced at Gaara and he thought he was in some alternate universe.

"Ummmmmm.........Hello?" Kankuro shook his head and with sweaty hands gave Nakora a gentle handshake. Nakora was a bit grossed out from Kankuro's sweaty palms but she was polite and did not say anything. Gaara stood up and said, “Well your gonna need a place to stay.....so maybe you can come to the sand village......”

When Nakora looked at him she started to blush and Kankuro saw this and felt a bit awkward so he quietly left.

“Yes but is it in the desert?”

“Yeah....why?”

“Uuuummmm well I don't really like sand.....” She actually loved the sand, it's just she felt she had to make him go after her. Gaara looked down and was disappointed...

“.......Oh okay well, why don't you go to the Village Hidden in the Leaves?”

“....Leaves.....?  Sounds nice!” as she said this she smiled adorably which made Gaara blush a little. And he showed her the way to the Leaf Village. He escorted her for most of the way until he knew they were near the gate and stopped and said, “I can bring you no further.....” For he knew after the war with the Leaf Village it would be bad if they saw him. She felt a bit sad and then she said, “....Oh....Okay well thank you for all your help.....” She kissed him on the lips and she ran ahead.....  Gaara stood there as his cheeks flushed he felt a warm feeling inside of him, and was not sure why he felt this way. He heard her talk to the Ninja at the gate he heard them say, “....Oh is that so.....well I'm very sorry....please you will be fine here you can make this your new home....But we need to make sure with Lady Hokage.....” He heard nothing else and he slowly walked away hoping to see Nakora again. Someday….
